      ANNETTE MARION (HEBERT) MALLOY
      July 18, 1938 - September 7, 2011
In loving memory of Annette Marion (Hebert) Malloy who passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Beloved wife of Bob Malloy. Loving mother of Kim (husband Ken MacDonald), Pam and Judy Lynn. Dear grandmother of Mindey and great-grandmother of Kayden. Dear daughter of Olive Hebert and Alban Hebert (predeceased) and dear sister of Richard Hebert (predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Annette's primary concern was always her family, her church and her charitable activities. Annette was born in Killarney, attended elementary school in Killarney and high school at St. Joseph's Academy in North Bay. While working in Elliot Lake, she met her future husband and together, they moved to Sudbury where their first daughter Kim was born. When an opportunity arose for Bob to take up a teaching position, Annette agreed to move to New Brunswick without hesitation, a place where she initially knew nobody. While in New Brunswick she became involved in the church and active in the community. Her second daughter Pam and third daughter July Lynn were also born in New Brunswick. The Malloys eventually moved back to Ontario, first to Pembroke and later Espanola and for Annette, ever closer to family and Killarney. Annette nurtured, loved and guided her three girls. She raised them in the Catholic faith, registered them in the French Catholic elementary school and taught them by example. In addition to caring for her family, Annette worked at the Espanola municipal office and was also an active member in the community. She was a volunteer and member of a number of organizations, including the Catholic Women's League. She was particularly active in the Canadian Cancer Society and was invited to the official opening of the Daffodil Terrace Lodge by Princess Diana. Annette's faith was strong and she was always an active member of her church including St. Louis de France, Good Shepherd and St. Jude's. She was always willing to assist and contribute and did so in so many ways including while Good Shepherd was being renovated, she volunteered to arrange and set up lunch for the volunteer workers. There is an empty spot in her family that will never be filled. Rested at the Bourcier Funeral Home, 222 Spruce Street, Espanola. Friends called from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, September 10 and 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, September 11. Funeral Mass was in St. Jude Catholic Church, Espanola on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10 am. Interment in the Espanola Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation, or the Lupus Foundation would be appreciated.
