      A very quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized in St. Peter's Church at Silver Water, on Wednesday, Sept. 30th, when Helen Elizabeth Morrison was united in marriage to George Everett, both of Meldrum Bay.
      The bride was very lovely in an ankle length gown of white crepe black satin and embroidered tulle veil in cap effect caught with orange blossoms and carried a misced bouquet tied with white satin ribbon.
      Verna Morrison, sister of the bride was bridesmaid. She was gowned in pink silk crepe and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers, tied with pink ribbon Charlie McDonald Jr. acted as best man. After the ceremony the wedding party motored to the home of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous wedding supper was served to about sixteen friends and relatives.
      In the evening a reception was held in the Community Hall at Meldrum Bay, where about two hundred guests were entertained with dancing and singing. The many costly and beautiful gifts received showed the high esteem in which this most popular young couple are held.
      Mr. and Mrs. Everett have taken up residence in Meldrum Bay. Their friends all wish them many yeasr (sic) of happy wedded life.

      Harold David Everett
      Harold David Everett of Espanola passed away at the Espanola General Hospital on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Totman) Everett of Espanola. Dear son of the late George and Helen (nee Morrison) Everett. Loving father of Anita Everett (partner Marcel) of Espanola and the late Donald Macdonnell. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, kassandra, Matthew, Colton, Keinyn and Cooper. Loving brother of Lorena Maki of Sioux Lookout, Dianne Everett of Whitefish Falls and the late Charlie Everett and Allan Everett. No visitation or funeral service by family request. cremation has taken place with interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date. if so desired, Memorial tributes may be made to the Northern Cancer Foundation. Arrangements by Bourcier Funeral Home Ltd., Espanola.
