      On Tuesday, April 12th, 1927, at the residence of Rev. W. W. Anglin, Mindemoya, the marriage was solemnized of Jessie Blanche, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baker of Clapperton Island, and Mr. Thomas Harry Lloyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Lloyd of Kagawong.
      The bride looked very pretty in a dress of apple blossom crepe de chene with slippers and hose to match. She was attended by the groom's sister-in-law, Mrs. Edgar Lloyd, while the groom was supported by his brother, Mr. Cecil Lloyd.
      Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd will make their home in Kagawong.
      At the Orange Hall, Kagawong on Friday evening, April 22nd, a wedding reception was held I honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd. Dancing was enjoyed by a large number of guests from Gore bay and Kagawong. A dainty lunch was served by Mrs. Henry Baker and Mrs. R. J. Lloyd.
      The gifts were numerous, showing the high esteem in which the young couple are held.

      Mrs. Harry Lloyd Dies Suddenly at Kagawong (handwritten 1933)
      Kagawong and vicinity mourn the passing of one of its beloved daughters in the person of Mrs. Harry Lloyd who passed away suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 9th in her 28th year.
      Mrs. Lloyd was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baker of Kagawong and attended school there later coming to Gore Bay where she attended Continuation School.
      On April 22nd, 1927 she was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas Harry Lloyd of Kagawong, and since her marriage had made her homein Billings Township.
      Being of a kind and loving disposition she made a host of friends who mourn her untimely death.
      Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her los, one sone, Norman, aged two years, her parents, and the following brothers, and sisters, Isabel of Buffalo, Mrs. Marshall Brown of Wayne, Mich.; Norman of Port Huron, and Earle and William at home.
      The many beautiful flowers paid silent tribute to the very high esteem in which the deceased was held by her many friends.
      The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the United Chuch, Kagawong, of which she was a member, Rev. E. E. Sykes, conducting the services. The pallbearers were Messrs. W. Wilson, N. Pierce, P. Prestage, Jas. D. Gorodn, R. Gordon and S. Gordon. Interment was made in Kagawong cemetery.
