      Anniversary Party
Mr. and Mrs. William Graham sr. of Kagawong, were hosts to a delightful surprise party given them by neighbors and relatives on the occasion of their 41st wedding anniversary, March 1st, 1928
The neighbors were gathered up by Mr. Jim Gordon and a sleighride party to the Graham home was in order. Mr. and Mrs. Graham did not know of the party until they heard the unusual noises outside their door when they began to realize that they were having a party. The bride and groom now mellowed with age, yet retaining al the jollity of youth were showered with confetti and congratulated on the occasion of this their 41st wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Graham were as always the congenial hosts and the party was soon under way with four tables of progressive euchre being played which continued until about midnight when scores were counted and prizes awarded. Mrs. A. A. Hunt was winner of the first prize, and Mr. Jim Gordon was the recipient of the booby prize.
Of course no party is complete without a lunch so cards were put aside; tables spread, and a very palatable lunch including a wedding cake was served.
The neighbors and relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Snow, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. William Graham Jr. and family, Mrs. Jim Newburn and daughter Dorothy, Mr. C. T. Anderson and the members of the family Eileen, George and Jim Graham.
All again had a sleighride back to their respective homes and were delighted to have spent such a pleasant evening.
